Cleare formed Salsera Productions, LLC, to develop and produce films not only
with strong roles for women, but where minorities play vital, complex
characters. We are dedicated
to working with both new and established artists to bring our stories to
life. We are committed to
bringing thought provoking, interesting, and character driven pieces to
the film community.

Cleare (Producer)
Originally
from
Chicago, LaQuita graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a B.S. in
Psychology and a degree in Theatre Arts.
She performed onstage with several theatre companies including
Pegasus Players and New Millennium Theatre Company.
Upon moving to
L.A.
she immediately began looking for work and has appeared in numerous
independent films. She was
in the indie film, “Son Up” which has appeared in several festivals
including
Palm Springs, Pan African, Harlem Int, and Cinequest among others.
She also completed the feature, “Sister’s Keeper” with Eric
Roberts and Kent Faulcon. LaQuita
has appeared on such T.V. shows as Strong Medicine and has done theatre
and commercials. She
co-wrote and produced the short, “Something in Common” which went on
to several festivals. This
short is now being developed into a feature.
She recently completed the film, “Are You Serious” with an
award winning cast and crew. She
has now teamed up with an award-winning producer to work on a feature,
which they are currently in pre-production for.
